Retirement Celebration for Prof. V. V. R. Rama Bhadri Raju on 31-Aug-2024

MVGR College's academic community gathered with a blend of gratitude and celebration on August 31, 2024, to honor Dr. V. V. R. Rama Bhadri Raju, a revered professor in the Department of Mathematics, who retired after a distinguished career.

 

The retirement celebration, organized by the MECWATS took place at the Library Auditorium. The event was a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Raju's remarkable contributions over the years. Faculty staff filled the auditorium, joining in the celebration of a scholar who has left an indelible mark on the institution.

 

Dr. Raju, who has been a pillar of academic excellence and inspiration at MVGR, was honored with a series of tokens of appreciation. The Management, alongside MECWATS members, presented Dr. Raju with a ceremonial shawl, a bouquet of flowers, a special gift and a wall mount featuring a printed poetry tribute, celebrating Dr. Raju's dedication and impact.

 

In his speech, Dr. Raju reflected on his journey at MVGR College with warmth and nostalgia. He expressed his deep gratitude to the management, colleagues, and staff who supported him throughout his career. "It has been an incredible journey," Dr. Raju said. "I am profoundly thankful for the opportunities, the support, and the friendships that have made my tenure here so enriching. I am also deeply moved by the effort and care that went into organizing this memorable event."

 

The gathering was marked by heartfelt speeches, memories shared, and a shared sense of admiration for Dr. Raju's significant contributions to both the institution and its academic environment. The event not only celebrated Dr. Raju's retirement but also reflected the respect and affection he garnered from his peers and students alike.
