CSE Emerges Victorious in 25th Sir Vizzy Trophy Tournament

The 25th Sir Vizzy Trophy, an exclusive cricket tournament for first-year students of B.Tech and MBA, concluded on 23rd November 2024 with the CSE Department clinching the title. The final match was a thrilling contest between the CSE and DE Departments, with CSE emerging as the winners and DE securing the runners-up position.  

The tournament, which commenced on 2nd November 2024, witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased remarkable talent among the first-year students. The event was organized by the SEA committee, with Dr. Rama Devi serving as the convener.  

During the valedictory ceremony, Prof. R. Ramesh, Principal, handed over the trophies to the winning and runner-up teams, congratulating them on their outstanding performances.  

The event was meticulously coordinated by the sports in-charges, Dr. T. Vidya Sagar, Asst Prof. and Dr. P. Sateesh, Assoc Prof, with support from Mr. Gopi Chand, Sr. Asst Prof and Mr. Raghu (PD). The tournament was a grand success, fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie among the students.
